Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I will be the slave of the one who teaches me a letter.” But if that letter is not about its “meaning in its name,” but about its “meaning in its letter”… In other words, if those who teach us a and b, after teaching us that a is a letter and that a letter can only reveal itself to the extent of a letter, fail to mention the author and artist who wrote that letter, who created it. The ideal teacher, the sought-after teacher, is the one who sees the universe and events through their “meaning in their letter” and who fulfills their profession.
